With pH Down from General Hydroponics you can adjust the pH of the growing soil without problems, around pH6. It is used by mixing it with the nutrient solution and will hardly require any subsequent corrections.
The acidity level is very important because it is difficult for our plants to assimilate nutrients outside of a narrow range that oscillates between 5.3 and 6.5 depending on the development phase of our plants and the medium in which we grow them.
