This extremely resinous strain is the result of crossing the original NL5 with Haze, Skunk and Kali Mist. NL5 Haze Mist is a tall and strong plant with a unique aroma and a reasonably short flowering period (at least for a mainly Sativa plant). It is very easy to grow, has the typical pine-like structure of a Sativa and develops long branches that benefit its productivity, so if it has enough space, let it develop properly.
NL5 Haze Mist is suited for ScrOG and LST (low stress) growing and thrives very well in hydroponic systems, but is also a great producer outdoors. In hydro, NL5 Haze Mist responds very well to a slight increase in P and K in weeks 3-7 of her flowering. The pH should be progressively increased from 5.5 in the vegetative period to 6.5 at the end of the flowering period, which guarantees great yields and incredible resin production. NL5 Haze Mist takes 11 weeks to reach full maturity and it is important to let her mature properly, because it is in the last week that she develops her complex range of terpenes and flavonoids, in the resin, which are what produce her unique aroma of sandalwood, incense, musk and forest berries.
NL5 Haze Mist is a very good yielder, indoors and in a hydroponic system you can expect yields of up to 700g/m² – outdoors, the plants reach full maturity in mid/late October, and each one can yield up to 800 grams. The buds look like bunches of individual fingers, with thick, hard calyxes.
The taste of the smoke from the buds is very similar to its smell, but with a more pronounced hint of incense and a touch of wood. The effect is psychoactive and uplifting at first, but soon a pleasant physical relaxation is added. The cannabinoid mix is 14% THC, 1.2 % CBD and 0.15 % CBN, and helps people suffering from arthritis, spasms, anxiety, pain, tension and cramps.
