Created by Lawrence Brooke, founder of General Hydroponics, it is very easy to use. It consists of a mesh pot that is inserted into a chamber where the hanging roots are stored.
This chamber is located above a reservoir containing nutrients and water. The air pump pushes the water upwards, irrigating the entire pot. The system works continuously, providing food to the plant permanently.
In hydroponics, plants grow 50% faster, and take the same number of days to flower as in soil, but produce up to 30% more dry weight.
