With pH Up from General Hydroponics you can adjust the pH of the growing soil without problems, around pH6. It is used by mixing it with the nutrient solution and will hardly require any subsequent corrections.
The acidity level is very important because it is difficult for our plants to assimilate nutrients outside of a narrow range that oscillates between 5.3 and 6.5 depending on the development phase of our plants and the medium in which we grow them.
- How to use
– Measures the pH of irrigation water
– If you have to raise it (it is below 5.3) put a couple of drops, stir and let it rest
– Measure again to check if it is okay or we should continue climbing
– By doing it little by little we make sure that we do not go overboard with the product
- Composition
- Potassium carbonate
– Potassium hydroxide
– Silicate
