The best just got better The new Gavita Pro line e-series includes improved models suitable for central control with Gavita Master lighting controllers. Complete lighting control at your fingertips.

Master controllers allow you to turn on/off, dim and brighten up to 80 “E” series fixtures. They completely replace the distribution board, eliminate inrush current, offer advanced features such as sunrise and sunset simulation, and protect your valuable crop with temperature safety features. The Master controller automatically dims lamps when temperatures get too high, and turns them off completely when climate control fails, protecting your crop. You can control a text messaging module or alarm system to alert you immediately when a failure occurs. You can even choose to control one room with 80 ballasts or two rooms with 40 ballasts each, on a 12/12 hour alternating cycle.

The installation of the e-series controller and spotlights is completely plug-and-play. Simply connect the controller cable to the spotlights and plug the spotlights and controller into the mains.

All “E” Series ballasts and fixtures offer the following advanced features and functions:

– Master Controller input for external control

– Three color status LEDs provide advanced status and status history indication

– Improved housing with increased cooling capacity for even lower temperature operation

– Eyebolts placed in new positions to improve weight distribution and increase the stability of the installation

A new product from the Pro line e-series is the 6/750e DE FLEX spotlight, which uses a newly developed Gavita Pro 750W 400V EL double-ended lamp. The control range of this lamp is 400-825W, filling the gap between 600W and 1000W lamps. We have given it the name 6/750 DE FLEX because it is just as efficient operating at 600W as it is at 750W. In many cases it is a modern version of a 1000W air-cooled spotlight, whilst operating at only 825W. This saves up to 20% of electricity. The output of the lamp, operating at 750W, is 1500 µmol s-1 (2 µmol s-1 per watt).
