It inherits its medicinal cannabinoid profile from two parent strains: Juanita la Lagrimosa and Session. As a descendant of Juanita, Joanne's CBD belongs to an ancient lineage of CBD legends.

Juanita la Lagrimosa is believed to be the first strain in history to reach a CBD content of 15%. This strain has won several awards at the High Times Cannabis Cup, thanks to its medicinal effect and low THC content. Although it offers an interesting cannabinoid profile, its size and productivity are usually small. Our breeders solved this disadvantage by mixing this strain with Session genetics. This towering hybrid produces huge yields and is descended from Kalijah, a CBD-rich strain.

After a period of hybridization and stabilization, Joanne's CBD was born. Our breeders managed to successfully combine the cannabinoid profile of Juanita la Lagrimosa with the size and productive potential of Session.
