Vanguard's new CMH magnetic ballast series are exclusive and inexpensive starters for LEC grow lights. They are manufactured in Italy under European energy efficiency regulations. They have an automatic disconnection function for defective lamps (DPC) and temporary disconnection against power surges, thus providing protection to the installed 315w LEC lamp.

In the event of a power cut, if the lamp is hot, the ballast delays the next start-up for up to 30 minutes so that it starts cold and does not damage the bulb.
