Mother Earth… In recent years, we have been investing in the research and development of new strains that possess medicinal qualities, and Durga Mata II CBD, which has been developed with the CBD crew, is one of those strains.

Type: 90% Indica / 10% Sativa.

Flowering time: 55 days indoors. Early October outdoors (northern hemisphere)

Optimal conditions: indoor. Outdoors, between 50º northern hemisphere and 50º southern hemisphere.

Yield: 400 g per m² indoors. 500 g per plant outdoors.

We decided to use Durga Mata because it is one of our feminized strains that already has a reputation for producing large, resinous buds, which wrap a thick, fluffy Indica blanket of relaxation around those who smoke it. The original Durga Mata was already a top choice for medical users, so we decided to enhance its medical powers.

Durga Mata II CBD retains all the characteristics of the original. We realised that many medicinal patients are new to the technique of growing their own medicine and for this reason we chose to develop a strain that is solid and reliable, easy to grow, and forgiving to the inexperienced grower.

The big difference between the original and medicinal strains is the cannabidiol (CBD) content. As medicinal users will know, CBD does not have the psychoactive qualities of THC and in fact moderates the effects of this component. We have bred DM-II-CBD to be a clone containing 8.5% in CBD (7% in THC), making it a variety suitable for medicinal use.

Durga Mata II CBD is a reliable plant to grow and, like the original, performs well in indoor cultivation and particularly in SOG (Sea Of Green). It develops in a bushy, flower-filled form with a central stem that oozes resin at the end of the flowering period. The rock-hard buds have a complex, sugary perfume smell, reminiscent of the exotic incense of Turkish Delight. Plants mature in 56-58 days and produce impressive yields.

For the outdoor grower, this strain performs very well too. It is naturally pest resistant and will grow well in moderate climates and less sunny regions of the planet (such as Northern Europe and Canada), thriving in southern regions as well.
