These bulbs are similar to metal halide bulbs but use a ceramic arc tube similar to those used in sodium grow lights. They have a higher light spectrum range, emit a more natural color, produce more light per watt and last longer than HM.
The socket of these lamps is Bi-pin and they work with different ballasts than the HM and HPS lamps.
The emission of beneficial UV and far red light increases crop development rates and yields, contributes to the development of trichomes and terpenes, and produces a natural spectrum of light that allows plants to be seen in full color.
